Summary:
Livara is seeking a strategic and adaptable individual for the position of Practice Liaison who will report to the Regional Clinic Manager. The Practice Liaison is responsible for helping grow physical therapy referrals and new patient volume for six clinics in San Diego County, and will perform a variety of functions requiring initiative, discretion and independent judgment. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Regional Clinic Manager to manage communication, provide education, cultivate relationships with new and existing physician referral sources in the area.
The ideal candidate will have experience within healthcare marketing, be goal-oriented, and be eager to think creatively and innovate.

This position will not have any direct supervisory responsibility

Essential Functions:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with direct referral sources through scheduled site visits and face-to-face presentations.
- Obtains, interprets, and analyzes physician referral information, e.g., referrals by physicians in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly reports and reviews findings with clinic managers and staff.
- Manages direct referral program; (Referral Tracking Tool) - Tracks number of referrals. Advises about any increases or decreases on a regular basis. Manages the “B” list of referral sources as defined in the Marketing Plan.
- Facilitates orientation of new referring physicians and office managers, ensuring they receive appropriate information (PT staff bios, patient outcomes data, clinic tours)
- Resolves or appropriately escalates physician inquiries with authorized scope of responsibility
- Follows up on questions, concerns, and areas of interest expressed by referral sources
- Maintains physician mailing lists and distributes communications and invitations
- Works with organization leadership on referral source retention strategies.
- Participates in setting objectives, forecasts, and means of evaluation of market penetration; recommends and coordinates activities that will promote interest in the services offered by the clinic.
- Acts as primary liaison between physicians, their office manager/staff and the clinic (e.g., IT, managed care, medical staff services, marketing).
- Demonstrates commitment to excellent customer service and maintains professional appearance and conduct
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of two years sales experience with incentive compensation experience preferred.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
- Creative ability and take charge, problem solving attitude are important.
- Demonstrated computer skills are required, including Microsoft Word and Excel or Google Sheets
- Must have flexibility to adapt to change and the ability to plan and organize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while recognizing and determining priorities.
- Understanding of, and adherence, to deadlines.
- Must assure discreet and confidential handling of all business.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in healthcare marketing or related field
Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring a combination of remote and in-person work.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Able to drive long distances regularly
- Frequent walking and standing
- Able to lift up to 30-50lbs (equipment, materials, etc)
Travel:
Travel is required 80-100% of the time to locations within San Diego County.

Compensation Range, DOE (Salaried, Exempt):
Salaried, non-exempt. Base salary of $50,000, plus an annual performance-based bonus of up to $60,000 (based on achievement of marketing targets), for a total potential compensation of up to $110,000.
